Monday, December 14, 2015
Trying to upload more piano covers on my youtube channel, but I'm either
1. Lazy to film
2. Lazy to play the piano
3. Not good enough to play the song well
But will upload more! So stay tuned for more videos & covers :)
Here's my recent short cover of 小幸运 Chorus ("Our times" movie theme song):
And here's my recent animation on Chemical Engineering!

SCHOOL SCHOOL SCHOOL.
WORK, TUTORIALS, LECTURES.
School's been crazy stressful lately but I'm still procrastinating, what the hell.
It's week 6 and term tests in week 8 and right after that I'll be away for 3 weeks, THAT'S FAST.
Can't wait for holidays but at the same time, I really dread for term test week.
Slight lack of motivation due to low grades in Sem 1.1 as well (excuses, oh excuses).
That's all for now, my life so far.

Rants about friends?
Monday, September 01, 2014
Alright, now that exams are over...I kinda feel bored and useless.
But I'm enjoying this lost and lonely feeling as well.
Must do something productive this holiday doing things I love and enjoy doing.
Anyway, just wanna rant that I dislike making new friends because:
1. Most go, most won't stay by me for long, maybe because I'm a lame shitty friend (& I sincerely apologize for that, and thank you to those who are still my friends till now)
2. I don't have common topic with most people because I'm an introvert living a boring life.
3. I'm ugly so I shouldn't your friend.
4. I'm not that popular.
5. I'm not worth being your friend.
Speak of which, I now think that some guy friends are so much easier to speak to that girl friends.
They are more open-minded, less sensitive, more expressive, more direct, more friendly. But in many ways, I still prefer girl friends because we kinda have more to talk about, but some guy friends are just nice and easy to speak to. Glad to have made a few good friends in poly and let's hope that our friendship will last; while some friendships are starting to shake and wobble and start to get unstable.

I appreciate every single one of them. I love all of them.
"But do they appreciate and love me too?", sometimes I wonder.

Time flies, some reality checks, & let me just be me.
Sunday, May 25, 2014
It's officially week 6 of poly school term. It feels like a week ago or so when I met my friends, classmates and everyone else. They say that "time flies when we're enjoying life", though it is definitely true to a large extent, I somewhat beg to differ.
Do I enjoy going to school?
Not at all. Umm well, from the very beginning, I dislike going to school, whether it was nursery or kindergarten or primary or secondary. So overall my answer is I have never enjoyed going to school, though I'd rather school than work. I love to learn, I love learning new things taught in school, I love gaining knowledge, but I dislike mixing around with people I'm not close with, I dislike walking around school because I feel judged by every single person who walk past me, lol.
Do I feel belonged in school?
I've never felt belonged in any school. I was from Adelfibel nursery school, Active Learners kindergarten school, Woodgrove primary school, Crescent Girls' School, & currently in Temasek Poly. I have never felt belonged in any of my schools. Maybe a little here and there, but not really.
And this explains a lot about me. I prefer to keep things to myself. Because I've never felt belonged anywhere. I do feel the love from my family, friends, people around me. I'm truly blessed with a happy family, good friends, great things. But I still keep a lot of things to myself because... that's just me. I feel that I'm a burden to everyone. So let me just be me.
JC vs POLY
Tuesday, December 31, 2013

After doing LOTS OF RESEARCH and finding out more of JC and POLY from many people, here's some things I'd like to share with y'all because I think most of you reading my blog are about my age.
But I'll be talking more about poly here because it's more complicated when you choose to enter poly as you need to seriously KNOW and get into the right poly course. JC stuffs are kinda straight forward...right? Okay let's start.
JUNIOR COLLEGE (JC)
JC is like Secondary school, but at a higher level.
JC = Advanced O levels -- You learn about maths, eng, chi, physics, science...all at a higher level.
POLYTECHNIC (POLY)
Poly is depending on what course you choose.
For example, if you take engineering course, you still learn math, physics, electronics, electrical stuffs etc. (which is a course I wouldn't take because I really don't like math and phy and electrical stuff).
You think poly isn't stress? THINK AGAIN.
Many students there share that poly is not stress UNTIL you get projects, group works, etc.
And for example if taking some Bio related courses, every lab session is counted towards overall GPA (to go to a good local university, your overall GPA MUST BE GOOD, which means you can't even afford to fail any of the modules). And quoted from someone who shared his poly experience on his blog, "so you can say the stress is distributed out, only sometimes it accumulates. Sometimes a few test in one day, then stress free for a few weeks, then exam again."
If you are already very sure on what you want to do and FULL-TIME career aspect in future (eg: bio course / fashion course / business course , etc), I'd advice you to choose poly. BUT YOU MUST BE VERY SURE. 100% SURE.
Because once you choose that certain course in poly, you will have to take similar course in University. (For example, you take Business course in poly, then you obviously can't take Bio course or non-business related course in Uni because not eligible for that)
And you must also take note that many with good O levels result go to poly route too. So the more popular courses are taken up by them. If you can't get into the course you want, you can appeal to the poly course too (but anw I'll share with y'all another time) but even if you successfully appeal in, another problem would be you'll be competing with the better students and remember that a small % of poly students can go to local universities, so you must WORK VERY HARD and compete with them. But it's totally possible to be better than them in poly with hard work :)
And, I really wanted Biomedical Science course (either in SP / NP / TP) but the L1R4 is quite low but anw apart from that, even if I get in, there's a lot of lab work and I'm not sure if it's something I love. As for career aspects, it's also not yet the perfect job I want. So I damn confused right now, everyday reading those poly stuffs and researching // ohgosh.
Okays, I'm goona continue researching poly stuff and finding the perfect course for myself, then sleep soon. It's midnight now, last day of 2013. Hope y'all will enjoy your last 24 hours of 2013!
//P.S:// I blogged a long blogpost on the courses I wanted for poly but decided to delete it because I realized that the career aspects in many of the courses I'm interested in is not that suited for me. I want to have a career which I love and enjoying doing. Thus, just managed to blog this quick blogspot. Good night Xx

Retro.
Tuesday, April 16, 2013
Today is my school's be-yourself-day, also known as spirit week.
The theme for be-yourself-day is RETRO.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These were some accessories I considered to go with for the RETRO theme.

...And not forgetting to take cool self-shots with the shades.
Interesting accessories I wore today!

AND FINALLY...
This is my RETRO outfit of the day.
Haha, it isn't that retro, but still a bit retro lar.
There's like a little vintage feel, so I'll just take it as a retro outfit :)
Details of outfit.
Canteen food.

My Friends.

My classmates.

BOYTHUNDER came to my school in the afternoon.
To be honest, I have no idea who he is but I asked my friends and he is some radio DJ person yea.
A celebrity DJ visiting my school (for idk what reasons, lol) so I went to the foyer and gathered with the crowd to wait for his arrival too.

So here's the only snapshot we took with him. Haha.

Singapore Discovery Centre.
Wednesday, February 27, 2013
So basically, I went to the Singapore Discovery Centre on Tuesday.
The Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) has many attractions and interesting games for us to play with!
For more info: http://www.sdc.com.sg/attraction-listing.html
On Tuesday, the whole level in my school headed to SDC to learn more about Total Defence and the different cultures in Singapore. It was really fun and we played many interactive games! It was a even more meaningful trip when we went for this learning journey with our friends and classmates!
One of the coolest thing we played with at the SDC was this filming studios.
The camera did film us in action! Check out the photos.
Me speaking into the microphone.
